Forget me Knot

I have just tied a knot in my handkerchief because I had forgotten that time, and have just been reminded; do you remember? Yes it was that time when life was exciting and each day we wondered how to squeeze out the last drop; sounds good and smells delicious; that was life, actually that was today, and I would say that my memory was short, but maybe my eyes were just closed and my mind somewhere else, and I just didn't here the call of nature, the song bird's tune beckoning me out of my sleep where the wolves are hunting me for my past indiscretions.
